This seminar will provide a thorough overview of the fundamentals of seismic analysis and design of reinforced concrete structures. The course will deliver practitioner focused training, enabling participants to make an immediate impact in their workplace. Key topic areas covered will be establishing seismic design loads, seismic design of reinforced concrete members, and recommendations for modelling of concrete structures.

 

Throughout the seminar the topics covered will be discussed in relation to relevant New Zealand Standards, with particular emphasis placed on explaining the background to code requirements.
